"On the night hours of 22 September, the Armenian armed forces once again resorted to provocation in the direction of Kalbajar district and fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani Army, and the sabotage group attempted to raid by laying mines in the ravines in those areas," the Commissioner for the Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva told reporters.
"Ignoring calls to refrain from such provocations is another form of open disregard of the Armenian side for the peace-building process and the requirements of international law.
As the Ombudsman, I call on the relevant international organizations to take effective measures against such cases causing serious threats to human rights and to strictly condemn the provocations actions of Armenia," Aliyeva also added.
